The Problem
Five of the largest direct-to-retail manufacturers with factories producing for one of the biggest US retailers faced challenges with complex product mixes across multiple programs. Accuracy issues given the complexity led to frequent product substitutions and costly chargebacks. Ensuring shipment accuracy from factories to retail distribution centers was critical to improving supply chain efficiency and avoiding costly penalties.
The Solution
Automated high-speed RFID tunnels and dock door portals were installed at factories in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Jordan to enable Pack and Ship Validation.
