The Problem
The leading US basics brand faced concealed shortages, product substitutions, and incorrect outbound shipments to a major US retailer, leading to costly chargebacks and inefficiencies. Without automation, significant manpower was required to manually verify shipment accuracy, increasing labor costs and slowing down operations.
The Solution
The VSBL solution was deployed with high-speed RFID tunnels and automated tabletop validation stations at the brand’s garment factory to ensure pack accuracy and capture EPC data at the item level. At the brand’s US distribution center, RFID tunnels, pallet wrappers, pallet tunnels, and overhead dock door readers were installed to verify receiving accuracy and ensure shipment integrity before orders reached the retailer’s DC. The retailer’s DC was also equipped with an RFID tunnel for final receiving verification.
